01 Apr Precision Contractors Named General Contractor for New Dutch Bros Coffee Location
Precision Contractors has been named general contractor by Rogue Development, LLC for the first buildout of the new expansion of Dutch Bros Coffee in the Denver Metro Area. The 824 square-foot building with 524 square feet of outdoor patio seating is being constructed on a currently vacant lot located the northeast corner of 84th Avenue and Acoma Way in Thornton, Colorado.
While Dutch Bros Coffee has several locations in Colorado Springs and Northern Colorado, this site is only the second location in the Denver Metro Area. Dutch Bros Coffee is the country’s largest, privately held drive-thru coffee company. The company has over 290 locations in seven states with more than 7,500 workers.
“The team at Precision is excited to take the lead on this project. Doing ground up work is always exciting as a general contractor because we will be involved in the life cycle of the development process. Our team is happy to be able to help introduce Dutch Bros Coffee to the northern Denver Metro Area,” said Bob Hibbard, CEO of Precision Contractors.
The selected site in Thornton will repurpose an empty lot that was once a gas station. A comprehensive environmental mitigation project was completed to rehabilitate the lot. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2019.
