Meet the 2024 Class of Precision Contractors Seizure-Response Dogs

Precision Contractors is proud to be a key contributor to the Chelsea Hutchinson Foundation and support all the work they do to assist individuals and families who have been affected by epilepsy and SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).

Our core values drive Precision Contractors’ success in the commercial construction industry, and a cornerstone on this list says, “We will be excellent community stewards.” Our contributions to the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation go to funds grants that place seizure-response dogs with families that need them.

Our company has proudly funded the training of many of these dogs over the years, and we wanted to share the latest three dogs we have invested in. In two of the photos, you see the new dogs paired with their new people, and the young man with the boxing gloves is waiting for his pup to finish the training program.

A seizure-response dog can often detect when people have a seizure and is trained to assist during an episode. One of these capable dogs gives these patients the peace of mind that comes with knowing they have a companion who is continuously looking out for them.

The obstacle these families face is the investment for the training that turns a promising puppy into a well-trained seizure response dog can be significant. Precision’s donations enable those in need to obtain a service dog that can transform their lives.

If you have the means and are looking for a nonprofit to support, we think the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation’s work is worthy of your support.
