We strive to find creative ways to make a difference through financial contributions as well as donating volunteer time and materials.
The Chelsea Hutchinson Foundation offers help and support to individuals, particularly children and young adults, who have epilepsy. Chelsea Hutchison touched many lives during her short 16 years here and we are amazed at how many people she continues to touch through the foundation even after her passing.
Precision Contractors contributes to the foundation throughout the year, and is primary sponsor of their annual fundraising gala. Precision’s support has helped a number of patients get a trained seizure-response dog.
This annual fundraising event is hosted by the Association of Volunteers at Children’s Hospital Colorado. The Wine Event has raised more than $2 million for the Children’s Hospital of Colorado and its programs.
Precision was a Vintage Sponsor for the 17th edition of this wonderful event in 2021. Proceeds raised at the 2021 event funded the Family Resource Center at the hospital, which is a crucial resource for families during their stay.
Precision Contractors is proud to have sponsored Carleen Duff’s fundraising efforts for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Rocky Mountain Chapter 2021 Man & Woman of the Year campaign!
Carleen was runner-up in the 2021 edition of the campaign, and the entire event raised nearly $1.2 million in new donations to help continue the fight against blood cancer.
Food for Thought is a 100% volunteer organization that works to make sure thousands of Denver school kids have food to eat over the weekend during the school year. Over 75 Denver schools get a delivery of “PowerSacks” that kids can take home to feed their families.
Food for Thought relies on volunteers to pack the PowerSacks each Friday for next week’s delivery, so we figure the least we do is spend a few hours each month to make sure smart kids in Denver are looked after.
One of our favorite fundraising events is the Golf Experience from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. Two Colorado nonprofits receive support from the funds raised from the Golf Experience.
The first nonprofit is Food for Thought. Food for Thought provides a “PowerSack” of food to needy Denver school children every Friday so their families have something to eat over the weekend.
The second is Eric Cares. Eric Cares helps Denver families pay for funeral expenses after the unexpected death of a child. Donations to Eric Cares help ease financial concerns around funeral costs so families can focus on honoring and celebrating the life of their child.
